Meet our missionaries who are sharing the good news of Jesus in England, Guam, Philippines, and Spain. our missionaries are so excited to spend this week with us!

November 8-12, 2023

Every year, we bless our new missionary families with overwhelming love by giving gifts from wishes and needs that they have. Most of the needs on the lists they provide are for their ministries, and we also ask them to send us wishes (items they've been dreaming about).

We, as a church, love to love in this way. We hope you will join in this huge blessings. We will present these gifts to our missionary famlies on the evening of our finale celebration, November 12th.

Gerardo "g"  & cesia gaonas

spain

BIO:

Gerardo and Cesia were born and raised in Monterrey Mexico. They both received the Lord at a young age in their local Churches. When they were teenagers their paths crossed at a Baptist Church in Monterrey. After dating for a few years and determining it was God’s will they got married. While in college, they both attended a Youth Camp organized by their local Church and it was at this camp, in 1998, that they surrender their lives to be used by God whenever, wherever He may want to use them. After five years of preparation in ministry and after graduating, G from Law School and Cesia as an Industrial Engineer they left their families, and their home church, quit their jobs, and move to another State in Mexico where, by the grace of God they planted two churches in a period of ten years.

G and Cesia Gaona have a heart for foreign missions. After much prayer, they joined the staff at Friendship Baptist Church, Owasso Oklahoma to finish their preparation for ministry. Shortly they will be sent to Spain to fulfill the calling of God for their lives.

G and Cesia have three precious children Alessandra, Abby, and Gabriel. They are passionate to see people saved and deepen their relationship with their Lord Savior. They love ministry and can’t wait to take the gospel around the World.

tarl & adrienne reeves

england

BIO:

The Reeves are BBFI missionaries and currently minister in London as church planters.

After graduating from the Missions program at Baptist Bible College, they both knew they wanted to be church planters in an urban European setting.

Tarl & Adrienne completed a 3-year internship at Orlando Baptist Church in 2005 and took their survey trip to London in 2007. Upon returning from this trip, the Lord began to place a burden upon their hearts for this city.

They arrived in southeast Greater London in August of 2011. While getting acclimated to the culture, they assisted a budding church plant alongside another missionary couple. During this time, they participated in discipleship, leadership training, and learning and observing British church ministry.

Tarl is currently pastoring and ministering at a church replant and revitalization project in southeast London. This church was on the verge of closing its doors permanently before the Reeves arrived. They are in the process of establishing this church through teaching Biblical truths and Baptist doctrine. You can learn more about this work at wellingchurch.com.

As Londoners are saved, it is their desire to see them reach out to those around them with the Gospel, pastor their own churches, and send out their own missionaries around the world.

Tarl & Adrienen have three incredible kids: Beckham who is 18, Lucy who is 15, and Griffin who is 13.

ian & amanda richards

guam

BIO:

We are the Richards family and we believe that it is God’s desire for us to take the good news of Jesus to people around the world. God has specifically led our family to reach out to the islands of the Pacific. In partnership with Global Surge in Manila, Philippines we have started the No Worries Project to go to 10 islands and plant 10 churches on each island.

Since we moved to Guam in June of 2022 God has been opening doors for us to partner with many Micronesian people to plant churches. In September of 2023 Ian was chosen to serve as the President of Pacific Islands University. This Bible College is training the next generation of Pastors, Missionaries, Educators, and Christian Leaders. The Islands are in desperate need of a transformational encounter with God. On Guam we have a population of close to 180,000 with only about 7,000 evangelical Christians. Please pray for God to move in the lives of the people of the Pacific Islands.
